What is AeroBarrier?

AeroBarrier

Allows for any level of airtightness in four steps.

First: Prep and set up the area

The team preps and sets up the area. Any openings or design elements will be covered and taped.

Next, the emitters and the AeroBarrier connect system will be set up. This includes a blower door, nozzle stations and hoses, a fan with lay-flat tubing, and the master control unit.

Second: The Area is Pressurized and Sealant is applied

The space is pressurized using a blower door. A computer controls the entire process including the temperature, pressure, humidity, and distribution of sealant within the space.

Third: Seal and Monitor the process

With the AeroBarrier Connect System, the results can be seen in real-time. The Technician has complete control over the desired level of airtightness and can achieve any level. A final blower door test is run to verify the air sealing result. AeroBarrier provides a certificate at the end of the test with the before and after airtightness results.

Fourth: Clean-up

Thirty minutes after the sealing process is completed, the Technician can begin the clean-up process. Tape and coverings will be removed.
